🌱🌎Adapt + Act mag is now live🌿🌎⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️on creative protest + climate action, it was created from the art & ideas generated through online workshops with the Rumpus Room young activists group, led by Rosemarie Geary + myself

The workshops were hopefully a space that enabled social connection and care as they took place in lockdown in May. We grappled with the idea of what it means to protest creatively and what it means to protest effectively. We discussed eco-anxiety and how coming to terms with climate change is similar to the stages of grief. Activities included drawing to the sounds of the weather, lots of streams of consciousness writing, creating protest posters + more.
